Bowling
The Phnom Penh Bowling Club and
the Superbowl are 2 places to go for this more
leisurely sport. Both are open until late. Superbowl is at Parkway
Square located at 113, Mao Tse Toung while the Phnom Penh Bowling

Every Tuesday night The Walkabout Hotel hosts a
pool competition. If one would like to compete with the locals, small
pool halls can be found down almost any street since the game is almost
a national obsession. Canoeing
The Cambodia River Tours or Adventure Canoes
offer short paddle near Wat Phnom to a marathon journeys through
the provinces. These are the better established canoeing
businesses in the area but others are worth trying. For more information

Diving
Sihanoukville's pristine beaches located about a 3-hour drive or
30 minute flight is the nearest place for diving adventures.
Elephant Riding
This fun event can be done at Wat Phnom on weekends
and some evenings. Ask your hotel on arrival for more details.
Gambling
Naga Floating Casino is Phnom Penh's only casino, set on a former ocean liner and it is the only casino in town.

Golf
Two golf courses and two driving ranges are available in the capital.
The Cambodia Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole

The second option is the CVK Royal Golf Club, also
an 18 hole course on Route 4, 5 kilometres south of Phnom Penh. Telephone: (23)

If playing an 18 hole course takes too much of your time, put some practice
in at the Parkway Square with a rooftop driving range
and putting green located at 113, Mao Tse Toung. Another driving

Fitness Centre's
The best equipped Clark Hatch gym at the Hotel
Inter-Continental is great for this and for more information

city and a few other hotels also have gyms within their residences.
Fun Runs
A great way to meet and see the locals is to go on a run with the Phnom
Penh Hash House Harriers. To find out more about
the family event where the kids can join in too, head down to the
Phnom Penh Railway Station on any Sunday afternoon
at 3.00 pm. Meet at 2.45 pm at the Railway Station at the intersection

Jet Skiing
The Alligator Ski Club has jet skiing from their
floating bar on the Mekong River. To get there is easy, just cross the Chruoy
Changvar bridge, go about 1.7 kilometres and search for the Alligator Ski
sign in front of the Klein Klang pagoda on the
right. Phone them on 012-835859 for more information. Kickboxing
Held every Sunday at the TV5 studios. Cambodians
are passionate about their kickboxing, which is very much like
Muay Thai of Thailand. It is also believed to be a Khmer invention. A large number of people gather
to watch local heroes, especially when the match includes foreign
contenders. Soccer
The Cambodian National Soccer League games
are played at a variety of locations and when games are on their venues
they are listed in the Cambodia Daily. Shooting
Range
The Thunder Ranch Shooting Range is situated on the road
to the airport or on the outskirts of Phnom Penh. More than
20 different guns are available here, ranging from AK-47's to M60
machine guns. Swimming
Most of the main hotels have swimming pools. Water
Skiing
The Alligator Ski Club on the Mekong River provides
boats and skis. For those who do not want to ski, there is
