Korea (Rep)
is a mountainous peninsula which separates the Sea of Japan from the Chinese Yellow Sea.
Alpine to the north, the southern Island of Cheju
basks in an almost subtropical climate. NumerousNational and Provincial Parks are available in this country and its coastline is ruggedly
picturesque. Although some moves towards a political thaw, the
border with Korea (Dem Rep) is closed and is likely
to remain so for the foreseeable future.
