Seoul Shopping Guide - TravelPuppy.com
Seoul is a capital city with many diverse shopping opportunities, with western style shops and departments stores located alongside specialist arcades - check out the Silk Arcade in the Gwancheoldong and the Jewellery Arcade in Jongno.

The huge Coex Mall, below the World Trade Centre, offers games arcade, cinema, an aquarium and great restaurants to help ease the strains of a hard day of shopping.

The World Cup Mall or Seoul World Cup Stadium has completely changed the country’s landmark football stadium into a shopping centre with over a hundred clothing outlets.

The fashion lovers should head for Munjeongdong Fashion Street where international brands like DKNY and Nike are located and can be snapped up for a fraction of the regular retail price. Similarly Mok-dong Street and the Guro Fashion Valley are lined with clothing stores.

Dongdaemun Market is another good place for shopping, offering a selection of shopping malls, market stalls and smaller stores with over 27,000 shops. Korea House, 112-2 Samseong-dong, is an ideal place to choose the more traditional crafts and souvenirs.

Opening Hours: 9.00 or 10.00 am - 10.00 pm daily.
