The airport has one terminal, the contact pier and
satellite.
Transfers between
Terminals
The courtesy Aerotrain operates between the contact
pier and the satellite (time: about 2.5 minutes) every 3 to
5 minutes.
Directions
From Kuala Lumpur, take the (ELITE) North-South Central Link
Expressway, or take the North-South Expressway and go south,
turning off at the Nilai Interchange towards Salak Tinggi
and the airport.
Parking
Passengers may park in blocks B and C of the covered short-term
car park. The building is connected to the main terminal building
and the Pan Pacific Hotel on level 2. Long-term parking
is also available.
Car
Hire
Car rental companies are Avis, Budget, Hertz, National
and Thrifty, operating 24-hour desks on the Arrivals
level in the main terminal building. You can pick-up and return
vehicles at designated counters in the covered car park on
the ground level of Block D. Chauffeur driven cars can be
booked through prior reservation with hotels.

Transport
Rail
The KLA Ekspres is an express rail service between
the airport and KL City Air Terminal (KLCAT) at Kuala
Lumpur's Sentral Station. The KLA Ekspres runs
every 15 minutes from 5.00 am - 1.00 am (time: 28 minutes).
Tickets can be bought at vending machines or ticket counters
at the airport, KLCAT, or at travel agents and hotels.
Seat reservations are not required and frequent travelers
discount tickets are available. KLIA Transit is another
high-speed train between the airport and KLCAT but
with stops at three major townships: Salak Tinggi, Putrajaya/Cyberjaya
and Bandar Tasik Selatan. KLIA Transit runs every 30
minutes, 5.32 am - 0.32 am (time: 37 minutes). Sentral
Station is situated on the edge of Kuala Lumpur's Central
Business District and is a transfer point for major rail systems
including the KLIA Ekspres, KLIA Transit, KTM Intercity,
KTM Komuter, Putra LRT, KL Monorail and STAR LRT.
Road
Taxis are located on the Arrivals level. Passengers can purchase
a coupon at taxi counters on the Arrivals level. Do not use
taxis offered by illegal operators. The two types of services
are: Premier and Budget and fares are based on a zoning system.
Buses: Express buses to Kuala Lumpur and local buses to Nilai
KTM Komuter station operate from the bus station on the
ground floor of Block C in the covered car park. Tickets for
express buses can be bought at the ticket counters in the
Arrivals hall and at the bus station from 6.30 am - 11.30
pm. Visitors can also take a bus to Hentian Putra in
Kuala Lumpur or to Seremban.
Help Desks and Information
There is a tourist information counter in the arrivals area
in front of the Aerotrain station. The help desk is
located in the contact pier close to the escalators that lead
to the immigration hall. The Visitors Service Centre
which provides information on airport services, facilities
including tourist information is located in the baggage reclaim
hall. The Travelers Services Centre in the
arrivals area provides 'meet and greet' facilities and travel
arrangements (telephone: (0)3 8776 4571; fax: (0)3 8787 4196).
An information counter is between check-in rows E and F on
the Departures level of the main terminal building. Info
kiosks or touch-screen information booths are situated
throughout the airport.

communications
The bank is located on the ground floor of Block C in the
short-term car park, close to the bus station. Bureau de
change and ATM's are on the Departures and Arrivals
levels in the main terminal building, and in the satellite
area of the Arrivals hall. The post office is on the Departures
level in the main terminal and open from Monday - Saturday
8.30 am - 5.00 pm.
Eating
and drinking
There are a number of fast food outlets, snack bars, restaurants
and cafés, catering to all tastes.
Shopping
Many shops as well as duty free are in the satellite area
and on level 5 in Departures and level 3 in Arrivals.
Luggage
Left luggage centres are on the public area on the Departures
and Arrivals levels. Coin-operated lockers are available in
the satellite area. A luggage delivery service with service
to most cities in the world is available from counter J42
on the Departures level of the main terminal building.
Other facilities
Nursery/baby changing facilities can be found throughout the
airport. There is an emergency sick bay in the satellite area
while the medical 24-hour clinics are on the Arrivals concourse.
Pharmacies are available in the main terminal building and
in the satellite area. Smoking lounges are adjacent to gate
C1 in the satellite and gate B1 on the Domestic level. Many
airlines have lounges available for their passengers. These
are located on the mezzanine level in the satellite.
Conferences and Business Facilities
The Plaza Business Centre (telephone: (0) 3 8787 2323;
fax: (0) 3 8787 2727) is on the mezzanine floor in the satellite
and is equipped with Internet facilities, fax, postal and
secretarial services. There is also a business centre at the
KLIA Pan Pacific Hotel (telephone: (0) 3 8787 3333;
fax: (0) 3 8787 5555) with fax facilities, Internet, workstations
and secretarial services.

Facilities
Disabled facilities are ramps, lifts, wheelchair-accessible
toilets and adapted telephones. Travellers should advise their
airline about their needs in advance to arrange personal assistance.
Disabled car parking spaces are available on level 2 in the
covered short-term car park, near the link bridges, that connects
to the terminal.
