Tropical without the
extreme high temperatures. Days can be very warm, but nights can
be quite cool. The rainy season in the east is from November
to February while August is the wettest season in the west. East
Malaysia has heavy rains from November to February in Sabah and
in Sarawak. It is hard to generalize about Malaysia's climate,
as rainfall is different in the east and west according to the
monsoon winds.
Recommended clothing:
Lightweight linens and cottons are worn
throughout the year. Waterproofing is a good idea year round. |
