Airport Tax

The airport tax is US $10 for international passengers, payable in FEC (Foreign Exchange Certificates). There is no airport tax for domestic flights.

Airport Facilities

Yangon International Airport is situated 20 kilometres from downtown Yangon. The Arrival Terminal is separate from the Departure Terminal and the Domestic Terminal. Simplified procedures ensure that on arrival and departure, international passengers are processed rapidly through immigration and customs.

Duty Free shopping is available in both the Arrival and Departure Halls of Yangon International Airport.

Limousine Service

A Limousine Service Counter is located in the Arrival Hall. Major hotels offer transfer services; and taxis are also available. Passengers are advised not to employ the services of touts for taxi or other services.
