Colombo Bandaranaike (CMB)
(Katunayake) is 32 kilometres or 20 miles from the city.
Buses depart to the city every 30 minutes. Taxis are also available.
There are trains to Maradana Station, located 1.6 kilometres or 1 mile from
the city centre (travel time is about 1 hour 25 minutes).
Airport facilities include restaurant, bar, duty-free
shop, snack bar, bank, post office, tourist information and car
hire.
No departure tax.
Sea
International sea ports include Colombo, Galle,
Talaimannar and Trincomalee.
CIT, Cunard, Holland America, P&O and Royal Viking provide passenger
