Cooking in New South Wales, and Sydney in particular, reflects the

General licensing hours for public bars are from Monday to Saturday
10.00 am to 11.00 pm with altering hours on Sunday.

Sydney's shopping hours are from Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.30
pm, Saturdays 9.00 am to 4.00 pm and Sundays 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.
Many shops also stay open until 9.00 pm on Thursdays.
Sydney is known for being a city that never sleeps, and has an assorted
selection of pubs, bars, nightclubs and music venues. Kings Cross
