Bahrain’s weather is fine throughout the year providing scope for a good selection of water or land based activities.
There are many facilities available on the islands which include snorkeling, swimming, game fishing (grouper and
barracuda), windsurfing, scuba diving, water skiing, parasailing
and yachting.
Other
There are health clubs, racecourses,
golf courses and riding available for those preferring to be at home or dry land. You can play golf at a green 18 hole golf course
at Riffa,
just 15 minutes by car from Manama.
Busheri’s in Budaiya provides a skating rink, bowling
alleys, game rooms and snooker
tables. Expatriate cricket and
rugby teams can also be seen. Football is Bahrain's national game, and there is an olympic sized football stadium in Bahrain. Camel racing,
horse racing, horse riding are popular
