Air

Local flights run by Iberia (IB) link all the islands. Air Europa and Spanair also fly.

Approximate flight times:

From Palma de Mallorca to London is 2 hours 15 minutes
From Menorca is 2 hours 20 minutes
From Ibiza is 2 hours 20 minutes

International airports

Palma de Mallorca (PMI) (Son San Juan)

Located 11km (7 miles) southeast of the city.

Buses

Buses to the city leave every 30 to 60 minutes from 0705-0005 hrs and the journey time is 30 minutes. Return is from the Plaza España.

Taxis

Taxis to the city are also available.

Airport Facilities

The airport has a duty-free shop, first aid facilities, bank/bureau de change, bars, car hire, tourist information and a post office.

Mahón (MAH)

Located 6km (4 miles) from Mahón.

Coaches or taxis are available to the town.

Ibiza (IBZ)

Located 8km (5 miles) from the town of Ibiza.

Buses to the city leave hourly from 0700-2330 hrs. Taxis are available to the city of Ibiza.

CNAN – Compagnie Nationale Algérienne de Navigation (car ferry) from Algiers
Compañía Trasmediterránea (car ferry) from Alicante, Barcelona, Valencia and inter-island to Palma, Balearia.

The main ports are:

Palma (Mallorca)
Mao and Ciutadella de Menorca (Menorca)
La Savina (Formentera).

There is also a ferry service from Sète (France) to Palma. There are regular ferries from Ibiza to Formentera with a travel time of 45 minutes.
