Summer extends from
June to August and Winter is from December to March, wet with long
periods of frost. February tends to be the coldest month. Spring
and autumn are generally quite mild.
The Faroe Islands are under the influence of the warm current of
the Gulf Stream, and they enjoy a mild climate for the latitude.
The Winters are warm, but the islands are cloudy, windy and wet
throughout most of the year. Summers are quite cool, but with little
