The major ski resorts

Ylläs
Luosto/Pyhä (in the North);
Rovaniemi,
Ruka,
Iso-Syöte,
Vuokatti,
Koli and Tahko (in central Finland)
Himos and Lahti (in the south).
All of the major resorts are easily accessible from the nearby airports
or railway stations. The number of slopes varies from 5 to 36, while
cross-country skiing trails vary in total length from around 100
to 250km (63 to 157 miles).
