People may import the following items into Iceland (by persons over 18 years old for tobacco products and persons over 20 years old for alcohol) without incurring customs duty:

200 cigarettes or 250g of tobacco

1 litre spirits and 1 litre of wine, or 1 litre of spirits and 6 litres of beer or 1 litre of wine and 6 litres of beer or 2.25 litres of wine.

Travellers may import goods free of duty up to the value of ISK 46,000. The value of each single item cannot exceed ISK 23,000.
