Tropical climates and
temperatures varying from area to area. The driest weather is between
June and September, brought by the eastern monsoon. The western
monsoon brings the main rains from December to March. Rainstorms
occur throughout the year and the higher regions are cooler.
Recommended clothing
Lightweight clothing and rainwear are both advised.
Warmer clothes are good for cool evenings and in upland areas. Smart
clothes such as jackets and ties are necessary for formal occasions.
It is considered inappropriate to wear halter-neck tops and shorts
anywhere other than at the beaches or at sports facilities. |
