Post

Airmail to Western Europe normally takes at least 2 weeks. There are 10 major post offices in Tehran and post boxes are yellow. Stamps can be purchased at some cigarette kiosks.

Post office hours are generally Saturday to Thursday 7.30 am to 3.00 pm, but some main post offices stay open until 9.00 pm.

The Kayhan International, Iran News, and Tehran Times are the major English language newspapers.
