People may import the
following items into Iraq without incurring customs
duty (alcohol and tobacco can only be imported by persons aged 17
years and over):
200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 250 grams of tobacco
1 bottle of wine and 1 bottle of spirits with a total volume of
no more than 1 litre.
500 mililetres of perfume (2 small opened bottles)
Gifts adding up to the value of ID 10.
Note
The total value of the above goods may not exceed ID 100. Travellers
who have not left Iraq within 120 days must report to customs.
Controlled and prohibited items
Prohibited items include
electrical appliances other than personal effects, souvenirs in
quantities considered to have commercial value, numerous types of
fruits and plants. |
