From Dublin city centre, take the M50 north and exit onto the M1
north to the airport.
Car parking
The airport has two car parks; one short-term car park, which is
a short walk from the terminal, one long-term car park, just off
the airport site (accessed directly from the motorway) with a free
24-hour shuttle bus service to the terminal.

rental
Car hire companies operating from the airport include Avis,
Budget, Murrays, Eurodollar and
Hertz. There are also many pre-book car hire companies
which operate at the airport; these include Argus,
Hamill, Atlas, Dan Dooley,
Malone, Bunratty, Sixt
and Thrifty.

Taxi
Available from outside the terminal. A travel information desk is
located in Arrivals
Bus
Bus services can be caught from the Arrivals road directly outside
the terminal. They the Airlink Express
coach, which goes to Dublin's main bus station and Connolly
rail station, and to Heuston rail station on some services; buses
leave around every 15 minutes 07:00-23:00. There are also buses
to central and suburban Dublin, as well as a bus to and from Belfast
City operated by Bus Eirean.
Coach
Coaches operate from the airport's coach park on the far side of
the main car park building. Aircoach, runs from the airport to Dublin
city centre and other stops including hotels; coaches leave every
15 minutes 05:30-22:30. City Link and Nesters run a service to Galway
City.
Information and help desks
The Airport Information Desk, staffed by Aer Rianta,
is on the Arrivals concourse, open daily 06:00-23:00. Dublin Tourism's
Information and Reservation Centre is on the Arrivals concourse,
next to the main Arrivals door. The centre is open 363 days a year,
08:00-22:00.
Airport facilities
Money and communications
Bureau de change facilities can be found throughout the terminal
building; there are also 24-hour ATMs located on the Arrivals and
Departures levels and in the atrium of the multi-storey car park.
A foreign exchange currency dispenser is on the Departures level.
There is a post office in the car park atrium open daily 09:00-17:00.
Eating and drinking
The airport has several restaurants, cafés and bars.
Shopping
Shops include duty-free and others.
Luggage
A left luggage facility is located in the atrium of the multi-storey
car park for short- and long-term storage of luggage. Greencaps
portage service is in the Departures and Arrivals areas to help
passengers with their baggage.
Other facilities
There is a pharmacy and a hairdressers on the Departures level of
the terminal. There is also a free nursery on the Departures level.
Conference and business facilities
Business facilities available to Anna Livia Airport Club
members and guests (telephone: (0)1 814 4521) telephone, fax and
photocopying in boarding areas A, B and C and a meeting room in
boarding area B.
Disabled facilities
Award-winning facilities for disabled passengers include adapted
toilets, lifts with Braille buttons, an induction loop and a counter
loop system at the information help desk. Passengers should advise
their airline of any special needs on arrival at the airport or
when making their booking. A Minicom Phone is provided
for hearing-impaired travellers (MINICOM telephone: (0)1 814 4613).
Short- and long-term parking for the disabled is available on the
ground floor of the multi-storey car park with direct access to
the terminal and can be booked in advance (telephone: (0)1 814 4828).
Airport hotels
The Holiday
Inn Dublin Airport (telephone: (0)1 844 4211) and Great
Southern Hotel (telephone: (0)1 844 6000) are both located
on the airport premises. Dublin City Centre is only a 20 minute
taxi ride away, so it may be worth considering Dublin
City Centre hotels as an alternative. |
