People may import the following
items into Jamaica without incurring customs duty:
 200 cigarettes or 225g of tobacco or 50 cigars
1 litre of spirits, excluding rum (for passengers aged over 18 years)
1 litre of wine (for passengers aged over 18 years)
1 litre of other alcoholic beverages (for passengers aged over 18 years)
150 g of perfume
Personal and household effects up to a value of J $500.
Controlled and prohibited items
The prohibited items include:
Fur bearing goatskin products (unless properly shaven, cleaned and cured)
The controlled items include:
Birds imported from the United States of America unless accompanied by the required health certificate. |
