The climate in Jamaica is tropical
all year. It can be mild in the mountain areas. The rainy
months are May and October, however showers may occur at any time.
Hurricanes are prone during the rainy season, which
is between June and November. Jamaica also lies within the earthquake
zone. The weather gets cooler evenings.
Required
clothing
Lightweight cottons and
linens are advised and light woollens are recommended
for evenings. Avoiding synthetics is sensible and waterproofing
is necessary all year round. |
