Notes
are in denominations of KD 1, 5, 10, and 20. Also 250 and 500 fils.
Coins are in denominations of 5, 10,
20 50 and 100 fils.

American Express, MasterCard, Diners Club and Visa are accepted.

Travellers cheques
Travellers cheques are widely accepted. To
avoid additional exchange rate charges, travellers are advised to
take travellers cheques in United States Dollars or Pounds Sterling.
