Air

are direct flights from Colombo, Dubai, Trivandrum, Singapore, Karachi,
Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich, Bucharest, Zurich, Rome, Bombay,
London, Doha, Narita, Vienna, Moscow, Madrid, Sharjah, Kuala Lumpur,
Gatwick, Manchester, Bahrain and Paris.
Additional airlines operating services to Male include Maldives
Airlines , Austrian Airlines, and Singapore Airlines,
which fly daily into Male from Singapore. Approximate

to London takes 11 hours (excluding stopover). International
airports
Hulule International (MLE)
(Male) on Hulule Island is 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) from Male (travel time
by boat – 15 minutes).
Boats from the various island resorts meet arriving planes to transport
visitors to their accommodation. There is no regularly scheduled
transfer from Hulule Island to the other islands. If a booking
has been made in advance, representatives of the resorts will pick
up tourists at the airport and will arrange all onward transport
arrangements. Airport facilities include first
aid, left luggage, bank, duty-free shops, post office, snack bar,
