Malta is warm most of the year.
The hottest months are between July and September, but the heat
is tempered by the cooling sea breezes. Rain falls for very short
periods and mainly in the cooler winter months.

Lightweight cottons and linens are worn between the months of March
and September, although warmer clothes may occasionally be necessary
in spring and autumn and on the cooler evenings. A light raincoat
