The goods below may be brought
into Nepal without incurring customs duty:

Cigars or 100 cigarettes

of spirits or 12 cans of beer
Reasonable
amounts of perfume for personal use
Note
(a) All luggage must be declared on arrival and departure.
(b) Goods including cameras, videos and electronic products may
only be imported duty free if they are exported on departure. They
may not be left in Nepal.
(c) It is unlawful to export any antiquities or goods over 100 years
old.
(d) Export certificates can be acquired from the Department of Archaeology
for the export of any metal statues, sacred paintings and similar
objects. |
