Nepal’s weather is
usually expectable and pleasant.

The monsoon season is during the end of June and the middle
of September. Around 80% of the rain falls during this
period, and the rest of the year is dry. The best seasons are spring and autumn. During the winter, the temperature goes down to freezing

encounter a minimum
temperature falling below freezing point and a cool 12ºC or
54ºF maximum. Colder temperatures prevail at higher elevations.
The Kathmandu Valley, at an altitude of 1,310 metres (4,297 feet), has a milder
climate, ranging from 19-27ºC or 67-81ºF in summer to
12-20ºC or 36-68ºF in winter.
