Approximate Flight Times

There are no direct flights from the United States of America.

It takes 8 hours 25 minutes traveling from London to Doha.

Doha International airport

Doha (DOH) is 8 kilometres (5 miles) south east of the city (travel time is 25 minutes). Taxis are available to the city with the official rates displayed.

Airport facilities

Facilities include banks, car hire (Budget and Hertz), restaurant and a duty free shop.

Departure Tax

There is no departure tax.

Sea

The main international ports are Umm Said and Doha. The traffic is mostly commercial, however some passenger lines call at Doha

Road

Access is possible via both Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, however the main international route from Saudi Arabia is unreliable and often treacherous during the rainy season.
