Scotland Weather -

Scotland is usually colder than the rest of the UK, especially in the northerly regions. The west tends to be wetter and warmer than the cool dry eastern region . In the upland areas, snow is common in winter, and fog and mist may occur at any time.

Recommended clothing

Similar to the rest of the UK. Waterproofing is advised throughout the year and warmer clothing for the Highlands.
