Passport
Passport valid for at least 30 days after the intended date
of departure is required by all.
All passengers must have a passport with at least 1 blank
page. Visa
Visas are required by all except the following for business
and tourist purposes:
A. Nationals of countries referred to in the chart above for
stays of up to 90 days, except nationals of Hungary, Cyprus,
Poland and Slovak Republic who may stay for up to 30 days
and nationals of Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Slovenia who
do require a visa.
Nationals of Andorra, Norway, Paraguay, Liechtenstein, Israel,
Botswana, Iceland, Jamaica, Bulgaria, Chile, Argentina, Brazil,
British Virgin Islands, Ecuador, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand,
St Vincent & the Grenadines, San Marino, Singapore, Switzerland,
Uruguay and Venezuela for stays of up to 90 days.
Nationals
of Antigua & Barbuda, Costa Rica, Gabon, Benin, Bolivia,
Barbados, Belize, Cape Verde, Guyana, Hong Kong (SAR) (Holders
of Hong Kong British Nationals overseas passports and Hong
Kong special passports), Jordan, Korea (Republic), Lesotho,
Macau (SAR), Malawi, Thailand, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius,
Peru, Namibia, Seychelles, Swaziland, Turkey and Zambia for
stays of up to 30 days.
Transit passengers continuing their journey by the same or
1st connecting aircraft provided holding onward or return
documentation and not leaving the airport.
Unaccompanied children under the age of 18 years must
hold written consent from their parents when travelling alone.
The cost of different types
of visa
Visitors and Transit: £35.
Study Permits: £43 (price depends on the level of education).
Business: £125.
Some nationals (including the United Kingdom, India and Zimbabwe)
are exempt from visa fees. Other nationals
must apply for a visa and pay the appropriate fee. All fees
are subject to change without notice, travellers are advised
to check with Embassy or Consulate to confirm costs.
Validity
Validity depends on the length of stay requested. Permits
may be extended, if done so it must be 30 days prior to expiry
of original permit. Application

where South Africa is not represented may send their applications
to the embassy in the nearest country.

The fee, payable in cash, postal order or bank
draft.
A completed application form.
A stamped, self addressed special delivery envelope
if applying by post.
A valid vaccination certificate, if required by
the Act.
Proof of sufficient funds that cover the visit
and return tickets.
Return or onward tickets.
Documentation or a statement confirming the purpose
of the visit.
Yellow fever certificate if travelling to, from
or through the prevalent zone. |
