Transfer between Terminals
The terminals are connected internally on 3 levels.
Driving Directions
The airport is located at the centre of Switzerland’s road network with excellent connections to cities, including Zurich, Basel, Bernand St Gallen on the A20.
Car Parking
There are 3 covered car parks next to the terminals and a further car park a short distance away. The open air P60 car park provides remote long-term parking and is linked to the airport by bus. Valet parking is also available.
Car Hire
Companies located in car park 2 include Avis, Alamo/National, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt.
Public Transport
Rail
The airport has a Swiss Federal Railways Station located under Terminal B, with trains to central Zurich and many cities and tourist destinations across Switzerland.
Road
Taxi: Taxis (tel: (0)1 800 7777) can be found outside terminal 1 and terminal 2.
Bus: The bus terminal is located next to car park 2; many regular bus lines serve regional towns and villages. An excellent night bus network connects the airport to destinations all over the country.
Information and Help Desks
Information welcome desks are located in the Arrivals halls of both terminals and in new check-in area 3. FASTpoint terminals, located throughout the airport, provide information on shopping amenities, airport facilities, flight and train schedules, maps and directories, as well as a range of other services.

Money and communications
There are banks, which also provide bureau de change services, a post office and 9 FASTpoint terminals providing telephone, fax and photocopying facilities. Wireless Internet is also available.
Eating and drinking
Restaurants, snack bars, coffee shops and take-away facilities are available.
Shopping
Shops, including duty-free are available. There is an Airport Shopping Centre, one level above the check-in area 3.
Luggage
There is a lost property office which deals with enquiries. Porter services are available. Trolleys are available free of charge. There is a left-luggage desk in Terminal 1 Arrivals; lockers are available as well.
Other facilities
The airport has pharmacies, a medical and dental centre, prayer rooms and nurseries.
Conference and Business Facilities
The Unique Conference Centre (tel: (0)43 816 3422; e-mail: conferencecentre@uniqueairport.com) has 36 rooms of different size accommodating up to 120 delegates, and facilities for business seminars, meetings and conferences. The conference centre reception desk also offers photocopier, a fax machine, telephone booths, shredder, secretarial services, interpreting and flight and hotel reservations.
Disabled Facilities
Facilities include accessible toilets and telephone booths, lifts and ramps. Disabled parking spaces are available in car park 2. There are special assistance desks in the Departures halls for travellers with special needs; passengers using this service must report no later than 90 minutes before departures. Passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline in advance. Porters can be hired to assist disabled travellers between the airport and railway station.
