Restricted Entry

Holders of Israeli passports will be refused admission, as will any passengers holding a passport containing a visa (valid or expired) for Israel and those holding a stamp indicating an Israel - Jordan border crossing.

Passports

Passport should be valid for at least 6 months required by all except nationals of Lebanon holding valid national ID cards.

Visa

Visas are required by all except transit passengers continuing their journey by the same or 1st connecting aircraft within 24 hours provided holding onward or return documentation and not leaving the airport, and the following nationals:

Single entry: £32.

Multiple entry: £50.

Transit: Payable by postal order or in cash only.

These fees are only for nationals of the United Kingdom. The cost of visas for other nationalities varies, please consult the Embassy for further information.

Validity

Single entry (3 months from date of issue).

Multiple entry (6 months from date of issue).

Transit (3 months from date of issue).

Entry visas primarily allow stays of up to 14 days. Extensions for up to 3 months are possible, please apply at the Department of Immigration.

Consulate (or Consular section at the Embassy), please see Contact Addresses section. In countries where the Syrian Arab Republic does not have diplomatic representation, visitors are advised to apply by post to the nearest Syrian Embassy.

Application requirements

A Visitor must have:
    A valid passport with at least 1 blank page.
  A stamped, self addressed envelope for postal applications.
  For a Business visa, a company letter stating the nature of the    business.
  2 completed application forms.
  2 passport sized photos
