Coral
Island (Ko Lan)
Approximately 8km from Pattaya Beach, you will find 3 small islands that are famous for
their white sand, colorful corals and
marine life, which can be viewed from glass-bottomed
boats. Thousands of visitors have been to these
islands. Ko Lan is the largest island, 7.5 km from Pattaya Beach.
Boat services from Pattaya Beach to Ko Lan are available several
times a day.
Each one-way trip is around 45 minutes by normal ferry or 15 minutes by long-tail speedboat. There are various types of accommodation
on Ko Lan. Ko Sak and Ko Khrok are the other 2 islets which are smaller and more peaceful.
Watersport facilities on Ko Lan Island include parasailing, scuba diving, snorkelling, water
skiing and windsurfing. Glass-bottom boats are also available for viewing coral reefs and underwater life. There are many souvenir stalls that sell beachwear and decorative handicrafts, food
stalls and restaurants on the beachfront of this island.
Sri
Racha Tiger Zoo
This zoo is located at 336 Mu 6,
Tambon Surasak and can be reached by car or taxi from Bangkok. You can take Sukhumvit Highway, turn
at Sri Racha District and follow the route passing Assumption
Sri Racha School for around 75km or you can either take State
Highway 36 at Kilometre 21, turn left and continue for another 1.5km. It has the largest number of Bengal tigers in Thailand, that were
bred effectively by the farm. There are also a variety of other
animals including crocodiles, ostriches, single hump camels, kangaroos

It has become the biggest zoo of its kind in the whole world that provides a home
to more than 200 of these big and powerful animals. The zoo is set up in a remarkable and
peaceful surrounding, about 30km from Pattaya. It is 1 of the best day attractions in the Eastern Seaboard.

Nooch Tropical Garden
1 of the largest
and most stunning tropical parks in Southeast Asia, just
15 minutes drive east of Pattaya.
