Although the days of just being a haunt of hippies and backpackers
are long gone, Samui continues to offer many opportunities
for budget travellers with more reasonably priced beach
accommodation than Phuket.
If you are travelling on a budget, you can get by fairly easily
on around B600 a day. Visitors staying in more comfortable
accommodation and eating at restaurants should expect to
spend around B1,500 a day. If money is no object, then you can
spend to your heart's delight. Though there are a number of luxury
resorts on the island, your spending levels will be curtailed
