The transfer between the terminals takes about 10 minutes
by shuttle service. The concourse is linked to Terminal 1
(Sheikh Rashid Terminal) via a tunnel with travel-ators. Terminal
2 is used primarily for business and charter flights.
Driving Directions
The Airport Road leads directly southeast
from the city centre on the east side of The Creek (Al-Khor).
Coming from the south of Dubai, cross Al-Khor at Al-Garhoud
Bridge and drive north, then turn right at the intersection
with Airport Road.

Major companies such as Avis, Budget, Hertz and Thrifty are
all represented.

Transport
Taxi: Prepaid taxis to the city centre
operate 24 hours a day. Limousine: Limousines
travel can be arranged in the Arrivals area. Travel time to
the city centre is about ten minutes. Bus: Service
runs to the city centre every ten minutes from 06:00-22:00.
Help Desks and Information
The Airport Welcome Bureau is in Terminal 1 Arrivals
and open 24 hours. (telephone: (0)4 206 2032) Two information
counters are located on the Departures level of the concourse,
opposite the Food Court and also opposite Gate 19.
Airport Facilities
Money: Banking services and ATM's are available in
the terminals, including automated bureau de change facilities.
The Departures concourse has a bureau de change and also a
post office.
Eating and drinking: Restaurants,
cafés and bars are located in the Departures lounge.
The Food Court is located on the Departures level between
gates 13 and 15. International cuisine is offered in the main
restaurant situated between gates 19 and 17.
Shopping:
Dubai is known for its famed duty-free shopping at the airport.
Other: Round the clockmedical
centre, first aid posts, children's play area, lounges,
health club with swimming pool, spa and a
fully equipped gym.

Facilities
Help desks with services dedicated to passengers with special
needs are located between rows A and B in the Departures hall.
Carts are available to transport passengers to the concourse.
Disabled passengers have access to special lounges and assistance
