a guideline rather than a comprehensive review of each the establishments.
Dubai is a Muslim city, therefore many restaurants, especially those
in the budget category are not licensed to sell alcohol. However
many restaurants in hotels serve alcohol. Sales tax is 10% and is
added to all bills. Service charges is usually 10 to 15% and is
frequently added. If not, a 10% tip is normal practice.
The prices below are a guide for a three course meal with a bottle
of house wine including sales tax, but not service charge. |
