The Government of the Republic of Yemen refuses
entry and transit services to holders of Israeli passports, or holders
of passports containing visas valid or expired for Israel or any
indication, such as entry or exit stamps, that the holder has visited
Israel.
Entry is also refused to nationals
of Libya, Algeria, Egypt, Sudan and Tunisia if their journey does
not originate from their home country.
Passports
Passport valid for at least 6 months after date of departure required
by everyone.
Visa
Visas are required by all except nationals of:
Egypt
Jordan
Iraq
The Syrian Arab Republic
Transit passengers continuing
their journey by the same or 1st connecting aircraft, do not require
a visa, provided holding valid onward or return documentation and
not leaving the airport within 48 hours.

Single entry
Tourist or visitor: £40. Business: £50
Multiple entry Business 6 months: £120 (only available
to British, Canadian and United States nationals). Business 12 months:
£220
For multiple entry visas, a letter from a company in Yemen is required.
Transit: £40.

Application
requirements
A Visitor must have:
2 completed application forms.
2 passport sized photos.
An airline ticket in and out of Yemen.
A valid passport
Fee (if applying in the United Kingdom, the fee must
be paid at a branch of HSBC and
proof of payment must be presented with visa
application).
A self addressed and stamped envelope for postal applications.
Tourist:
All
of which a visitor must have and a letter from travel
company organising the trip. Group travel should be
organised through a travel company in Yemen.
Business:
All
of which a visitor must have and a company letter which
states the purpose and nature of the visit.
Working days required
3 working days may be required. If applying by post,
processing will generally take 5 days.
